Course Description: This course will be in-person (face-to-face) on July 29 & 30, 2026 at Arrowwood resort at Cedar Shores, Oacoma, SD. Participants can earn one graduate credit through a combination of general and breakout sessions offered over these two days. This course is designed for secondary general and special educators, special education administrators/directors, special education paras, and other school or agency staff who would like to increase their knowledge of the transition to adulthood process for high school students who have a disability and are receiving special education services through a school district in South Dakota.
Course sessions will be 1-3 hours in length, including nine general sessions and an option of three different breakout sessions to choose from throughout the two days.
