Location: Multiple sites DOE training plus in-district mentoring
Dates: January 8, 2025- June 1, 2025

Course Description: Mentors and new teachers will participate in the SD Department of Education mentor program. Mentors will be provided with mentor training, and will participate in webinars with the members of the South Dakota Mentor Development Team. With the new teacher/s they have been assigned to mentor, they will also attend a collaborative kick-off session as well as a summer academy at the conclusion of the program. Throughout the school year, mentors and their assigned teachers will participate in 35 hours of mentoring conference time.
