The 1930s Dust Bowl ravaged the Great Plains. Some forget that the Dakotas suffered just as bad as southern plains states like Texas and Oklahoma. This course will cover the causes of the Dust Bowl and compare its effects in the Southern and Northern Plains. We will also consider the possibility of another Dust Bowl in the future.
