The program will compare the radio and television versions of the You Are There shows depicting the death of Socrates. In Week One, participants will listen to the radio version from the late 1940s, and in Week Two, they will watch the television version from the 1950s. Participants are encouraged to review readings from Xenophon and Plato in preparation
Notes:
I suggest a trip to the library looking for the works of Plato and Xenophon before the library throws them all away.
