Course Description: This course will be in-person (face-to-face) on July 8 & 9, 2025, at Arrowwood Resort at Cedar Shores, Oacoma, SD. Participants can earn one graduate credit through a combination of general and breakout sessions offered over these two days. This course is designed for secondary general and special educators, special education administrators/directors, special education paras, and other school or agency staff who would like to increase their knowledge of the transition to adulthood process for high school students who have a disability and are receiving special education services through a school district in South Dakota. Course sessions will be 1-2 hours in length, including eight general sessions and an option of three different breakout sessions to choose from throughout the two days.
