Course Description: This course is designed to explore the best practices and strategies that maximize the effectiveness of a lifelong learning operations department. It provides an overview of theory-based techniques for operations management, including business principles, staffing structure, finances and benchmarks, job standards and competencies, and data collection and analysis. Participants will discuss suggested strategies and be prepared to take an Operations Institute exam after nine weeks of course participation.
