Course Description: The South Dakota Special Education Conference has been held annually for over 35 years. The training will provide virtual training for school-based personal to learn “best practices” in the focus areas of differentiated instruction, disability specific, classroom management, behaviors, tech in the classroom, transition, SPED law and severe disabilities. The specific content is determined by the selected conference presenters’ topics. Day 1, March 18 will consist of 8 hours of instruction. Day 2, March 19, will consist of 5 hours of instruction. The remining 2 hours will be independent as explained below. There are no prerequisites for this conference.
