Course Description: The course consists of readings in Spanish with a focus on current events and social issues in Latin America. It includes discussions and writing components. This project based course intends to develop students' authentic understanding of content and language, focusing on the Latin American community. Students will be given various experiences, submerging them into issues affecting education, economics, environment, etc. through a multicultural lens. The aim is for students to research and reflect upon the experiences to demonstrate cultural and language growth beyond the classroom.
