Course Description: Primary goals of this program are to promote civic competence and civic responsibility among the nation’s students. What makes the program so successful is the design of its instructional programs including its innovative culminating congressional hearing activity. Textbooks and hearing questions are available for upper elementary, middle school, and high school classes. This workshop is developed to train teachers in the use of the materials.
